The Future of Conservation Leadership: Investing in the People Delivering Local Climate and Biodiversity Action

The Mitsubishi Corporation Foundation Mid City Place, 71 High Holborn, London, WC1V 6BA

About this Event

As climate change accelerates biodiversity loss, ecosystem degradation and social vulnerability, conservation leaders are increasingly at the forefront of climate action. They are designing and delivering nature-based solutions, supporting climate adaptation, and strengthening community resilience.

This session will explore how the climate and conservation community can strengthen and evolve leadership development efforts for the coming decade. It will bring together perspectives from emerging leaders, partners and donors to discuss what conservation leaders will need to equip them in a rapidly changing world and how leadership programmes can better support them.

Conservation Leadership Programme - Fauna & Flora, BirdLife International, Wildlife Conservation Society

The Conservation Leadership Programme (CLP) is a partnership of three world-renowned conservation organisations: BirdLife International, Fauna & Flora and the Wildlife Conservation Society,  with the aim to equip early career conservationists with essential leadership skills, support, and resources needed to conserve biodiversity and promote sustainable development locally while contributing globally.
