The Future Climate Leaders Forum and Evening Reception

The Future Climate Leaders Forum is a flagship event of London Climate Action Week, convened by Headland and Lloyds Banking Group in partnership with Bladonmore.
Taking place on the opening day of LCAW from 14:00–18:00, the Forum will bring together emerging talent driving the climate transition for an afternoon of high-impact discussions, insights and networking.
The event provides a unique opportunity for organisations to engage with emerging talent driving the climate transition sector, equipping future leaders with the knowledge and skills they’ll need. Speakers on the panel include:
Emma Pinchbeck, Chief Executive of the Climate Change Committee;
Tom Rivett-Carnac, Founding Partner at Global Optimism
and moderated by David Shukman, former BBC Science Editor.
The afternoon will comprise of four panels; ‘Business leadership and climate headwinds’, ‘The role of communications in climate leadership’, ‘The value of an entrepreneurial mindset: Lessons from professionals who have created high impact movements in their sectors’ and ‘Leadership in the new economy: What the future policy and economic landscapes look like’.
The event will conclude with an evening drinks reception, offering an opportunity to connect with peers across the climate and sustainability community.
From 18:00, attendees will also be invited to join the Climate Leaders Drinks Reception, bringing together leaders from politics, policy, business, media, civil society, NGOs, coalitions and philanthropy. The reception will be opened by award-winning climate comedian Stuart Goldsmith.
