State of Climate Politics Forum 2026
Walbrook, London EC4N 8BH
About this Event
The third annual State of Climate Politics Forum returns as a flagship event of London Climate Action Week. Hosted by international climate change think tank E3G at one of London’s landmark venues, the forum convenes prominent political leaders, policymakers, climate leaders, practitioners and experts for a high-level morning briefing on the State of Climate Politics.
The forum brings together a global mix of voices, with discussions structured around three panels and keynote interventions. This session will be pragmatic and solutions-focused, prioritising resilience and opportunity over performative optimism.
Join us as we explore:
- Whether cooperation is still viable in a ruptured world
- How climate is being integrated across foreign policy, development, security and economic priorities
- The role of subnational leadership in scaling international cooperation
- Reframing climate action in the face of divided politics and declining trust in institutions
- Pathfinding climate action for the second half of the decade
E3G
Founded in 2004, E3G is an independent climate change think tank with a global outlook. We work at the frontier of the climate landscape, tackling the barriers and advancing the solutions to a safe climate. Our goal is to translate climate politics, economics and policies into action. E3G builds broad-based coalitions to deliver a safe climate, working closely with partners in government, politics, international institutions, donors, civil society, science and the media to leverage change.
