About this Event

About the event

WWF-UK, in collaboration with the UN Climate Champions team and the World Economic Forum, are hosting a panel event to explore the global-level economic reforms needed to facilitate an equitable transition to a nature-positive economy — an economy that no longer over-exploits nature, but instead results in increasing levels of it, which will also support climate adaptation. The aim is to discuss a global reform agenda that will enable national-level action, recognising that individual countries will struggle to tackle biodiversity loss alone due to the global economic system’s misaligned incentives.

The event will include a presentation on the need for a Global Roadmap for a Nature-Positive Economy, followed by a panel discussion and audience Q&A.
