Fleet Street Quarter, the Business Improvement District (BID) for the City of London’s Fleet Street area, covering 43 hectares on the western side of the City, is hosting a 2-day Climate Festival during London Climate Action Week. Comprising a series of high-level climate panel debates covering net zero, democracy, the role of media, greening the city, decarbonising London’s buildings, climate finance and philanthropy as well as networking and cultural events.

Across the two days, more than 20 senior leaders in the sustainability, property, finance, media and legal sectors, from across the Fleet Street Quarter area and beyond, will share their insights and opinions on some of the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing business as it seeks to forge a plan for delivering a decarbonised model for the future.

Speakers will include: Alison Gowman, Member Lead for Climate Action at the City Corporation; Charlie Ogilvie, previously Director of Strategy for COP26 at the UK Cabinet Office; Chris Skidmore, former energy minister and author of The Net Zero Review; Heather Buchanan, CEO, Bankers for Net Zero; Martha Grekos, City of London Alderwoman and planning and environmental law Barrister and Tessa Ferry, Race to Zero Lead, UN Climate Champions.
