About this Event

SAFE’s Coalition for Reimagined Mobility (ReMo) will host an invite-only luncheon during LCAW.

ReMo Commissioners and invited guests will participate in a curated discussion of how to harness emerging technologies and innovative policy approaches to decarbonize the transportation sector. While recent decades have seen substantial improvements – driven by policy and technology – in individual vehicle fuel efficiency, these efforts have ultimately not been enough to address transportation emissions at a sector level. ReMo believes we must consider new technologies, infrastructure, urban planning, and policy frameworks to achieve significant and lasting reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and end oil dependence.

SAFE is an action-oriented nonpartisan organization committed to transportation and energy policy solutions that aim to reduce dependence on oil to ensure the economic and national security of the U.S. and its allies. SAFE launched The Coalition for Reimagined Mobility in 2021 to advance global transportation outcomes that accelerate the deployment and scaling of mobility-enabling technologies to improve how people and goods move. By convening private and public sector stakeholders, conducting industry leading research, and developing policy in the U.S. and Europe, ReMo addresses the barriers and opportunities to unlock a 21st century mobility system that is safe, secure, efficient, and sustainable.
