About this Event
CleanMed Europe 2026, ‘Europe’s leading conference on sustainable healthcare’, will showcase practical, real-world approaches to achieving measurable progress in healthcare sustainability. Under the theme Leading Healthcare Climate Action, the conference will move beyond theory to focus on actionable strategies, tools, and frameworks that healthcare organisations can implement to accelerate decarbonisation, strengthen climate resilience, and protect public health.
The three-day programme will feature keynote presentations, case studies, interactive workshops, and roundtable discussions designed to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among healthcare and sustainability leaders. Delivered in partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare, the event will combine in-person and virtual participation to maximise accessibility and global engagement.
The opening day on 23 June will take place live in London’s South Bank and will be livestreamed globally, while the following two days (24–25 June) will be delivered online and on demand.
Headline speakers include Dr Marina B Romanello, Executive Director of The Lancet Countdown; Mr Oliver Bisazza, CEO of MedTech Europe; and senior leaders from Great Ormond Street Hospital, NHS England, and the World Health Organisation (WHO), alongside more than 70 speakers from healthcare, policy, academia, and industry.
CleanMed Europe 2026 will bring together healthcare leaders and sustainability experts to share practical solutions and scalable models for healthcare climate action, strengthen cross-sector collaboration, and inspire organisations to accelerate sustainability action across the sector.

CleanMed Europe is Health Care Without Harm Europe’s flagship conference and Europe’s leading event dedicated to sustainable healthcare. The 2026 edition will convene healthcare leaders, policymakers, innovators, and sustainability experts during London Climate Action Week (LCAW) to accelerate the transformation of health systems for a climate-safe future.
