About this Event

Join UCL’s Institute for Risk and Disaster Reduction (IRDR) for the 14th Annual IRDR Conference. This year’s theme is Futures of Risks, with a keynote speech from Paola Albrito, Director of the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction. Members of IRDR will be showcasing their research and projects related to futures of risks, including the causes, consequences, and change that is needed. This year will also feature a session organised by a student committee. The conference will take place at UCL’s brand new campus, UCL East (near Stratford in East London) and will include opportunities for discussions and networking. All risk and disaster professionals, researchers, and students are welcome to attend.
